Public hearing was held at 1:30 PM prior to the regular meeting re application for
annexation and zoning followed by a public hearing for the purpose of considering
items to be included in an Ordinance amending the City ~oning Laws, Appendix 'A,
Clearwater City Code.
Tapes of hearings are on file in Planning Dept.
Minutes of January 16, 1973 and February 6, 1973 were approved as written on motion
by Mr. Schutzendorf, seconded by Mr. Reade.

above request for annexstion, subject to a 30 ft. right of way, drainage .:md utility
easement along the south side; 10 ft. drainage and utility easement along the west
and east perimeters; and 10 ft. additional right of way on SR 590; also that the
rezoning application from RS 50, Single Fp~i~;, to RM 16, Medium Density Multi-family,
be approved, subject to a covenant running with the lallC1 that the entire lot be held
as open space with a 30 ft. easement through the south 1/2 of the lot. Motion
carried unanimously.

is in accordance with the retention of limited density residential usage per the
Comprehensive Plan and provides permanent reBLdentinl ownership of an existing Mobile
Home community to be converted to condominium with recreational facilities and access
to bay. plan was approved and pnrk constructed under City of Clearwater standards.

Request: PS, Professional Services
Motion was made by Mr. Mylander, seconded by Mr. Schutzendorf, to recommend approval
of the above request, subject to a covenant running with the land to the effect that
the plan submittec at the Planning and Zoning public hearing be followed strictly
and, further, ,that the limitation be applied only to office and apartments and a 3-
story height limitation, and with a maximum density of RM 20; also that the per-
centage of the total ground floor of the building be only 25% maximum for accessory
,usage. Motion carried unanimously. Comprehensive Plan recognizes some type of
Multi-family or Planned Limited Commercial. Applicant's plan for Professional was
" reviewed and is acceptable. Limited Profession~l use generates less peak hour traffic,
thus keeping congestion at a minimum and the nature of activity permits daytime
activity only. The plan and use provide maximum open space.
Plat' for Forest Wood Estates was discussed. Motion was made by Mr. McCants, seconded
by Mrs. Phifer, to table this item until the annexation is final. Motion carried
unanimously.
Plat for Sallis Lake Park, 3rd Addition, was presented. No action was taken.
