12/29/1970 MINUTES THE PLANNING & ZONING BOARD City of Clearwater, 'Florida North Conference Room December 29, 1970 ~ 2:40 PM "~ present: Chairman Kruse, Vice Chairman My1ander, Butler, Galloway, Harries, ~cade and Spier; Cecil Henderson, Engineering Dept.; Keith Crawford, Traffic Engineering Dept. (present at public hearing); Paul A. Bergmann, Planning Director, and Jack Wolle, Chief Planner Absent: Messrs. Morris and Schutzendorf Public hearing was held at 1:30 PM prior to the regular meeting re application for annexation and zoning for the following: 1. N 140 ft. of S 47.0 ft. of E 150 ft. of W 980 ft. of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4, Section 17-29-16, together with any abutting streets, (Stone) Request: R-2, Duplex 2. 'Minutes of December 8, 1970 were approved as wri~ten on motion by Mr. Galloway, seconded by Mr. Mylander. ~~ ,::=Jtion was made by Mr. Butler, seconded by Mr. Reade, to recommend approval 'of (1) above. , Motion carried unanimously. Zoning requested is in accordance with lot and building usage ~~:"within the area. Applicant agreed to dedicating 30 ft. 1/2 right of way for Elizabeth Ave. ';',' ~Motion was made by Mr. Reade, seconded by Mr. Butler, to reconunend a.pproval of (2) (A) and :~':: (B) above based upon plan elements required for zoning classification. Grundman, architect, with last revision December 17, 1970, per site survey, with height limitation of two (2) stories on all buildings as well as the com- munity building and that the density not exceed 9.9 units per acre including the lands to be deeded to the City and zoned Public. It is further recommended that the deeded property be immediately zoned Public as soon as acquired by the 'City.
