Kruse and Spier; Students Olinger and Wilson The meeting was called to order by V:l.ce Chairman Mylander at 3: 20 PH in the City Hall' Auditorium. Prior to the meeting, public hearing WllS held at 1:30 PM in which application for zoning and annexation for the following items was discussed: 1. Lots 1) 3 and 4, Block 7 am! l~ots 6, 7, 8 nnd 9, Block 8, Highland Pines First Addition (Cantrell, ct al.) Request: R-1D Single Family 2. Lot 10, Block DJ Snl1s Subdivision (Mastroianni) Request: R-1D ) Single Fami 1y 3. Lots 5 and 6 less North 475 ft. and less West 20 ft. of Lot 6, South 360 ft. M.O.L. of Lots 9 and 10, Lots 11 and 12, Pinel1as Groves Subdivision in Northwest Quarter (NW~), 'Section 12-29-15 (City) Request: P Public Tape of hearing is on file in the Planning Department. The minutes of the meeting of April 14, 1970, submitted. in written su~nation to each member, were approved on motion by Mr. Schutzcndorf. The motion WllS seconded by Mr. Reade. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Mr. Reade and seconded by Mr. Harries to approve annexation request item 1 above. The motion carried unanimously. Zoning conforms to platting and.b~ilding in the area. Motion was then made by Mr. Reade, seconded by Mr. Schutzendorf, to recommend approval of item 2 above. Motion carried unanimously. ~1r. Rettig reported that applicant was not present due to illness. Zoning request conforms to land use. Motion was made by Mr. Reade to recommend approval of item 3 above. Motion was seconded by Mr. Schutzendorf and carried unanimously. ;ML Mylander and Mr. Bergmann reported and commented on the City Commission1s decisions of April 20th and April 27th. ". Motion was made by Nr. Schutzendorf, seconded by Hr. Harries, to approve the sub- .~ division plat of Blackburn Habile Home Park. Motion carried unanimously. Nr. Bergmann stated that the Mobile Home Park will have street improvements and beauti- fication buffer as r~quired in the mobile home zone. Draft copies of the revised Planned Unit Development zone were distributed to the Board members. Mr. Bergmann asked the members to review and comment. Re Comprehensive P lnn. ~fr. Ue rgmann s ta ted thn t six techn icn 1 documents have been received by the deportment and that review is in process. These documents include the Population Element, Land Use Study, cnD Plan, Housing Element, proposed new Subdivision Code, and Transportation Study. They will be presented to the Board and to the City Mannger in the very near future. Zoning, Community Facilities and Capital Improvements arc yet to be completed. Other items in process arc: (1) Flood Insurance Program, (2) Extraterritorial Powers, ,and (3), Sign Review. The.'Planning staff is also assisting with the Advance Acquisition Program, and is proceeding on a Department Program/Budge t and the revision of the landscaping ordinance.
