Such study was prepared by a commitee consi~ting of Bud Parmer, Chairman, the City ~ngineert City Electrical .D~partment Superintendent, and Major Blaine Lecouris, Police Department Traffic Planner. Mr_ Kruse briefly discussed the various recommendations contained therein. He brought out that some phases dealt- ~lith planning considerations as to access road~ etc. He further noted that 9ne such proposal (but of lower priority) was the extension of Myrtle Ave_, to th~ south to a junction with toe Clearwater-Largo ~oad, and to tDe North into North Ft. Harrison Ave. at Sunburst Court. He made referenc~ to a Board study of Myrtle Ave. alignment made a number of years ago which 'did not fav~r a southward extension to Clearwater-Largo Reid. In this re- . gard the Planner offered comnent that other improvements of Greenwood and Missouri may reduce this need. It was noted that alignment imme- diat'ely south of Lakeview should folloH east side of raIlroad right-of-Hay, ," thus !5kirting the Hest side of the lake. 'The Chairman complimented the report as being comprehensive, well done, and.a step for~'ard. He advised that more copies ~lould be obtained to circul~te' to the Board.
