Aftcl' Commi ttee disc, ussion to1i th the Board, and recommendation of the Planner for retention of subject lots in single family zoning, Committee members ,concurpcd in motion offcpcd by Mr. Reade that j,t be recommended that ahove apolication fop chan~ of zoning 'to PRS for I~ts 13 and 14, Highland Hill Subdivisioh, be de- hied. His ~otion was seconded bv Mr_ Mvl~ndcr and was passed. .. s ~ Nr. Galloway of the Zoning Committee was not present upon vote on this mo- tion. .. Rccornmenda tion Has based on the cons idcT'nt:i.ons that: Area f.'H1S subdivided and developed for singlc family usat:e. All lots .to the north in Highland Hi 11 ,arc bui 1 t upon to ~ood standc.1rds and arc occupied. Nice sinele family homes are also in subdivision adjoining to the west. A spot zoning of PUS would devaluate these homes and establish an undesirable precedent. PRS zoning would provide no control by plan of any specific permitted use to be establi~hed and t-.'ould allOt,] for' builcline, to a maximum heieht of ISO ft. Apartment usage would be permitted under PRS zoninc. At the time of the public heari.ne of pr:i.ol~ rezoning request, there \vos strong opposition to a chanBc to R-4 zoninc'from nciehborine residents. ", -) REVIEW OF PLANNING STUDI~S Hr.
