Mr. Lawrance Alexander, Editor of the Downtown 'Idea Exchango, for a
, can presentation to the Board and Chamber members. It was learned'
that as a.result decision was made by the Board of Gove~nors that,
because of seasonal demands upon the merchants; it was not desired to
schedule a consultant meeting at this time; however, that it was fur-

ther decided that services of this type would be requested by them
during the first quarter of 1967 and a program undertaken in support
of caD improvement. Mr. Kruse indicated that improvement of the CBD
would be an item of ~ajor attention by the Planning Board in 1967,
also continuing its cooperative effort for City Beautification.
The Manager.made short comment of appreciation for the Board's
work and its contribution in providing guidance to the continued
growth and desirable development of the City. He expressed satisfac-
