Minutes of the Meeting, Tuesday, October lB, 1966.
The meeting was called to order at ll: 00 P. M. by the Chairman,
Mr. Kruse. Present were Members Butler, Swan and Galloway, Mr.
Rettig of the Engineering Department, and Hr. Wolle.
The minutes of the meeting of October Il, 1966, were approved
as submitted in written summation to each member.
REPORT OF ATTRACTIONS COMMITTEE - Committee Members Butler and

Galloway Jnade preliminary report that the 1960 Attractions Report was
being studied individually, but that a Committee Meeting had not as
yet been held. There was some informal discussion of the subject
clnd some exchange of ideas regarding the possible consideration of
Sand Key among attraction sites to be restudied. No conclusions
were reached. Upon suggestion made by Mr. Galloway, the Chairman re-
guest7d that Mr~ Wolle furnish committee members with current f~U2
ownership maps of the major porperties r~~ommended as sites in the
~~ior report and ~ map of Sand Key ~howing that por~ion that has
eeen given consideration for ~ark use by tpe CountYa
REPORT ON ZONING PUBLIC HEARING OCT. 10 - Chairman Kruse made re-

port on Commission action, in part, as follows:
Item #1, rezoning request from R-4 to B for property on the
East side of Greenwood Ave., was approved. He noted that
both he and the Planner had explained the recommendation of
the Board that the zoning remain as R-4.
Item #2, change to R-IC zoning for Sunset Lake Estates, Units
#1, 2 and 3, was approved as recommended.
Items #3 through #8, proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance,
were approved with some modifications (as detailed) in
several of the proposals before approval.
fPZA CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES - Committee Assignmen!?~ - In progress
report, Mr. Wolle advised tha~ Mayor Joe Turner would preside at the

program cover, in color, was displayed. Mr. Wolle indicated that ,he
would be soliciting Board volunteers to assist at the Regi.stra-

the'Hospitality Hour on Wednesday~
