Butler~ Hr~ Rettig of the EnBineering Department, and t1r. Vlolle~ The
meeting was called to oT'der at 3: 5S P., M. when the art'i val of Hembers
Iley and Williams constituted a quorum.
The minutes of the meeting of August 9, 196Gj were approved as

TRAVEL. PARK - PROPOSED ADDITION TO ZONING ORDINANCE - Prior to

a quorum being present, the Planner distributed copies of Zoning Ordi-
nance Amendment Proposal to provide for Tpavel Park usage in certain
zone classifications and to establish Travel Park Standards in a new
section to be added and to be designated as Sec. 26-1lCu Mro Wolle'
presented the proposal with explanation that' it was patterned as to
form and content after a recent Pine lIas County zoning amendmen~ pro-
,r-; posalo He further explained changes that had been made from text of

this model, including the deletion of some provisions not applicable
to an operation within the city and the abbreviation of some sections
pertaining to utility requirements. It was pointed out that the stan-
dards in the proposal presented WEPe designed primarily for the desti-
nation type parker, whereas the County's version set up sepa~ate stan-
dards for destination and overnight type park faciliTiesu Some pre-
liminary discussion was held with the Planner in which various ques-
tions from members were answered,
After formal convening of the meeting, the Boarn reviewed and dis-
cussed the content in detai.l. Reservations were expressed by some mem-
bers as to the desirability or feasibility of a travel park usage to
be permitted as a coordinated part of d mobile home p~rk. After a
<J lengthy discussion, some changes and revjsions were approved as recorded
