Photos of this other local area sta- tion built on similar plans (taken by the Planner) were passed to the Board. Suggestion was made for a Board re-study of the previously sub- mitted. proposed service station ordinance to ~ive consideration to appropriate revisions and possible incorporation of some design fea- tures. ZONING CHANGE - DEL ORO AREA (continued from Mar 15/66) - ,t~l)M R-lE to R-l'f3 _ lJ r The Planner reported that since the previous meeting, representa- tives had obtained 6 more signatories to their petition, and that Mr. Conway had advised him by telephone that he was attemptinR to Ret a yes' or no answer 'from the grove association, owners of the strip across the northern portion of Del Oro Groves Subdivision (not at the present time signatories to the petition). Mrg Wolle explained a map- drawing prepared by the Planning office illustrating by legend vacant lots, lots occupied by residences, and those properties whose owners had joined in the petition for change of zoning. The Planner presented an analysis of the percentages of owners represented in the request as a total and in specific conti~uous areas of separate blocks along certain streets. After an ex- pression of willingness to concur with this recommendation on the part of Mr~ Butler of the Zoning Committee, this motion was passed unani- mously. Ma SIGN STUDIES _,liB" Zone, Service Stations, PRS Zone - The Planner conducted a review of a study chart distributed outlining revisions to be proposed for the PRS Zone (copy of agenda record). This he ex- plained was prepared based on his opinion that changes recommended to relax restrictions for the R-4, R-M, B and Service Station signs re- quired adjustment in other zones such ~hat there be successive, logical gradation of certai,n requirewents relating to all zones. Some concern I I was expressed that amendments to the ordinance as glven its first and .-/ second reading might delay its scheduled third rcadin~. ZONING CONFERENCE - TAMPA - APRIL. 20-23-, 1966 - The Chairman announced this Annual Conference sponsored by the St. Association of County Planning and Zoning Directors of Fla. and solicited attendance by any interested members.
