in favor of Plan B to direct the Committee to prepare its proposal on

Dept. studies. 'However, after some discussion, it was decided that
the Committee would continue the development of the ar(~a of Plan B
and then submit its expanded p~oposal to the Boa~d for final approval,

iine. It was considen~,d that a fin";il plrln might involve a combina-

M~. Wolle reported that after discussion with the Traffic
Planner his recommendation was for relocation of the ~'e5terly approach
drive on Sunset Point Road a minimum of 10 f'L furthe~ east, in that
such change would be desirable to reduce the hazard of C~09S movement
for westbound tr.affic, and also provide more opportunity fo~ vehicle
alignment and the entering" reservoir' space at the control light for

The Planner presented this plat, together with a copy of the sub-
r-j division master plan. Mr. Wolle ~~ported that:

Unit plat was being submitted without prior reference to the
'Subdivision Committee and that it follows the master plan before
the boa~d.

Unit 2 has been completed and all the improvements are in (apart-
ments have been constructed on some sites within the plat area).
His re~ommendation was for approval of the plat.
Upon inquiry made as to pr~cedures in regard to new street names, Mr.
Rettig explained that he keeps a list of existing street names within
the city and checks names of any proposed platted streets to try to

City Commission meeting the City Attorney had been directed to d~aw up
an, annexation ordinance.. Property was located on 1/200 AtlilO Sheet
and land use and zoning of the area was studied. Note was made of
R-IE zoning in Bonair Hill No* 2 (city subdi.vision adjoining on the
west). The Planner offered recommendation for R-ID zoning based upon
lot size of 80 ft.. ot' mo!"e for lots of request and i.n recoBn'i tion of
the standards presently established by platting and building within

(c) ~e~opt FPZA Conferenc~ - Chairman Kruse, The Planner, and
Members Harries and Butler r~ported on activities of ~1e FPZA Annual Con-
ference attended the week before.. Mr. Harries gave int~restinf. de~
tails of the Wednesday NASA film presentation and conducted tour of
Cape Kennedy. Mr. Butler commented especially on his enjoyment of the
first evening's session whicll offered a briefing of East Central Florida
regional, metropolitan and local planning efforts. All reported that
the Conference arrangements and selection of pI"ogram speakers and

panelists had been excellent.
