(a) SW cornet" Duncan Ave. and Gulf-to-Bay - StandArd Oil
(b) SE corner Highland Ave. and Sunset Pt. Road - Standard Oil
Mambers reviewed site plans for these hl0 service stations. The
Planner made comment that driveways as indicated on plans submitted
would ,create' unsafe entry and exit 'traffic patterns for access to the
major arteries at these critical intersections. Mr. Wolle reported
that he had not as yet had an opportunity to check with City Traffic
Planner, Capt. Lecouris, in regard to these traffic problems. Mem-
bers generally concurred with l1r.. \'1011e' s recommendation that con-
sideration be given the following:
In Plan (a) - to the removal of the most easterly access
driveway on Gulf-to-Bay and that the plan be
restricted to only one entrance and exit for
-,
each frontage, such driveways to be relocated
at a greater distance from the'intersection.
ID Plan (b) - to the removal of the west 'drive on Sunset Pt..
Road, with the east drive to serve both for
.,
entry and exit and to be relocated at a g;!lerJterl
distance from the intersection.
