Mr~ Wolle suggested tha't Board procedures be in accordance to the schedule for zoning hearings as decided by the City COIDn\ission. He cited an example might be that'according to a doubling of previous load of zoning changes that such zoning hearing may involve . 'only six cases a qual:'ter.. Thus "the Corrunissif)n could schedule one pUblic heaZ'ing every quarter. In order to time. recommendations fZ'om the Board to the CO@miasioTlt necessary Board public hearing could precede the commission public "hearing by 30 to 40 days. This "1OuId (1) facilitate an acceptable frequency of public hearing arid action and would (2) promote an efficiency ill zoning administration, and (3) minimize pl"'eparatol"Y costs. Also l!uch s1:!hedule Hould be sim- plified to the citizens and firms or agencie~ i\ffected by zoning proceduI"~s. The Board discussed the above ideas pl~,~scnted in SOJl18 d(~tcdl.
