Kruse, present v,ere Members Harries, Mylander, Rettde, Kennody, Shepard and Oalloway, Mr. Rettig of the Engineering 1)epartmen.t, and Ar, tooll.e. The minutes of the foUowi,ng maetings vrere approved as read: the regular meeting of December 5, 3.961, the Chris trnas Lwacherm meeting of December 19, 1961, Soeci.al meeting of January 2, 1962,. and Special. meeting of January 3, 1962 Prior to approval of the minutes, the, Chairman read for the Board's information copy of his memorandum of +ian. 4, 1962, addressed to the City Manager, transwitting record of the Boards action in regard to the conference held N-Ath Ar. Hobart Bicke.rstaff , Jr. The Chairman coament ed that -the Board had not had a chance to discuss the results of the December zoning referendum and suggested that in the report for the year that the City Planner was going to prepare that these results should be stressed, The Planner indicated that the report; would be. in the nature of a zoning report. He presented as the item for Board consideration tho proposed closure of the street right-of-way adjoining the plat of Unit 6 on the east (such right-of-way is in the County, is platted, but roadvray not improved). The Board was advised that Ar., Gates, the developer of t;hl* unit of the subdivision, eras subwitting tine plat on the basis of his successful negotiation of an agreernent, with the property of-mers involved., The Board rovi.ewed the plat and these facts were diocus sed: fan w o?.
