Copies of a draft of a proposed plannj.ng and zoning brochure
titled "To,'mrd a Better Clear\'roter, 13 Questions and Ans\'/ersH 'were
distributed to Board Members tor study and scheduled action at the
ne>:t meeting" It was explained that these questions and answers do
not have reference to the HBA proposed zoning ordinance but are
based on existing planning and zo~ing procedures.
Concerning zonin~ on the prop9sed subdJ:vision,to be known as
Gulf-to-Bay Estate~ (located E. of Shingler Trailer Park and W. of
Gulf-to-Bay Acres): j.lessrs.. Blackburn and Hamilton were pre sent to
explain and relate to the Board their program or development for the
business .zoned tract and the residential uses in the proposed sub-
division a Because of information about existing sewer facilities
and the use of the east Business strip, the Board reconsidered the
location of the East entrance" Questions were asked concerning
traffic and parking) and the expec ted arrangement of' buildings" Llmi-
tations on the uSe of the multi-family zonB were pointed out because

The Vica..Chni.rsnnn asked for the Ci~y Planner I s report on
,S\~roat Name Signs.. i1Jr.. \'/olle reported that Sec. Jr4. of Ordinance
750 (amending Urd. No. 632) does not. set out specifications for
street name signs and suggested that either a standing committee or
a spe cial commi.tt ee work out some proposed specificat ions. After
some discussion, !\Ir. Wolle '>;3.3 instructed to draft spElcificat~ions
for street name signs and submit :for approval of the Board at the
next meeting.
The Vice-Chairman appointed the following committee to revie~1
and re,commend on a proposed separate off-street 'parking ordinance
not to be connected with the zon:i.ng law pI'~CeS8 re quiring referendumo

record o~ a 11 ft. unplatted strip to the west of this plat was not
brought to the attention of the BoardG This area is ,rithin the
