The meeting vas called to order by the Chairm.n, 14W. Ifruse,
at 3:10 P.M. and the minutes, of the April. 9 meetir?w, were approved.
The meeting began with a continuation of the discussion of the
zoning ordinance content„ "The Text Of A Model "Zoning Ordinance"
was referred to for-definition of a lot for zoning purposes,. Appli-
cation Yras made to the creation of non-conforming lots and the problems
involved in the enforcement of revised ordinance restrictions on
building. Farther explanation and discussion ifas given to uses under
exception provisions. Application eras made to specific controls on
acreage dowel opments and special uses such as apartment groups, shop.
ping centers, prafesnional. offices. Theso upon review by the Board of
Adjustment and Appeals might be permitted in a higher restricted zone
than normally al.lolmd'viithout specific control After statements by
members of the Zoning Connuittee and considerable di scussi.on. of regu.

in., a multi-family district. Mr. Gates proposed that a home occu-
pation be defined as admitted in 'the r-4 area. He stated that real
estate operaGian of any nature could be a home oCc:upation. Further
discussion of multi-family requirements was deferred to the next,
meeting. Zoning committee agreed to meat Tuesday 3:30 P,M-
