sion with the Zoning and Planning Board and Mr.. l~roderic Hobinoon
and MrD Jack Stodghill, reprosentatives of Harland Bartholomew and
Associatos was held a~ 3:00 P.M. a~ Oity Hall on Thursday, March 26.
Mr. 0 Kruse intorducad ~~u Robinaon and ~w. Stodghill and mombers'of
the Planning Board to the Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney and

that a long-rango plan includes planning~ prograllJl1ing and building,
and that facilities for a city cannot be planned unless one knows the
amount and characteristics of" the population of that city,.. One of

a very short time due to the issuing of bonds. Mr. Robinson then
agreed to have information ready for the City of Clearwat.er in ten
days. During this discussion Mro Insco asked if it would not be
desirable to plan to locate these 'buildings close togethero Mro
Robinson replied th'at it is desirable to have all the public, build-
ings'in a location together, but no~ to preempt business property,

Something is needed to do away with the paCkage deal where Clear~
water has only ona referendum a year.
, Commissioner Insco then asked. if the main t:ho!'oughfares into
the city have to be business streetso Mr. Robinson stated that
mora traffic can be moved on streets, even business streets, \mere
there is no parking and where many side streets offer traffic access.
