Present were members Kruse, Levioon, Driver, Norton, ??Dade and
Galloway and Nick Rompon of the Sngineeri.ng Department..
The minutes of the May 23rd meeting were approved as corrected.
The chairman announced that Captain Carey was not ready to make his
report but will attend next weekf s meeting to present his conclusions on
Pierce Street and the Vine Street Drew Strout intersection.
fjlr. Gerald Weimer, assistant to the City Adnager, submitted several
subdivision plats for the Board to review and consider. Inasmuch as the
functions of the Hoard hwi-e not been broadened or changed by the City
Commission, the Board advised Ar. ,Eimer that it is only free to review
plats when requested to do so by the City Commission or the City Engineer.
The secrerax3r read a letter, written by the chairman of the !Board,
to the several consulting planning firms regarding the status of engaging
a consulting firm to prepare a master plan and employing a Planning
Director for C:learwater?
i The chairman announced that he would be out of the City tdonday,
Rule 10th, and urged that one or more members of the ,hoard attend the
City Commission meeting that day. Ile also urged. that if possible, some
member of the Hoard attend the meeting of the American Civic Association
to be held in Little iZock Arkanaaa, Juno q and 1n,
It was moved, seconded and passed that, ACTION should be written
for more information regarding its activities and coasts of subscriptions,
Mr. Gal1ouray reported tint he had discussed. closing, the. i4emarial
Causeway bridge on Sunday afternoons with tile City Attor•riey, 1•ir, Krentzman',
Mr. Kreatzman advised him that the Array vequired bliat a traffic

hearings would be held and other formalities observed before a decision
