the exception of fow" wells and pumping facilitios in connection with
the City water supply~. In the opinion of the Board, these wells ~rouJ.d
not hinder the use of the land for recreational purpOSGu.
As an altornative~ the Board has been advised of an informal offer
by Mr. Frank Hancock to return to the City, at the original purchase
price per acre of $2,000, approxD 10 acres lying immediately north of
the City Air Park, being a part of the acreage recently purchased from
the Cit:y' by Mr. Hancock. The offer is predicated upon the use of the
land for recreational purposeso
It is suggested that even though the Commission should look :favor-
ably on the Air Park site for Little League Facilities it might be in
the bast interest of the City to take advantage of 1~. Hancock's or~er
by acquiring the 10 acre parcel for ~lture recreational purposes.~
