The Chairman asked Mr. Rogero what route is planned for Alternate 19.
Mr. Rogaro replied that the route for Alternate 19 from the north limit
of Dunedin to the south limit of Largo has not yet been determined. He
feels that it will be necessary to stop parking on State highways and he
hopes that ultimately Ft. Harrison and Garden l,.'ill be made one-way streets
and that Garden will become a State highway. However, this is not official
and he was merely expressing his personal opinion. Also he proposes that
Myrtle Avenue should be used as a two-way street for traffic through Clear-
water.
This lead to extensive discussion of Myrtle Avenue as shown on "M R 1".
The City Commissioners present,l;and Mr. Rogero all agreed that the plan as
shown on "I~l R 1" is a good one and should be carried out.
Next the' Chairman asked r4r. Rogero for information on Sta te plans
for the west end of Drevl Street and the west end of Ilie;hvlay 60. Mr.
Rogero suggested that this should be discussed with the State and County

State Road Board will probably meet in Clearwater on the lost three days
of August and suggested that this matter be discussed with State Engineers'
at that time.
Mr. Rogaro was next asked for information regarding the Causeway
to be built from Clearwater Beach to Be11eair Beach. He advised that the
north teminus of the bridge will be approximately midway of the end of
the last finger on the Beach and will not be at the south end of Harnden
',Drive. This lead to discussion of traffic patterns and right-of-way ~ddths
for streets leading from Harnden Drive to the north end of the bridge. Mr.
'Rogero urged that the Planning Board work with Mr. Durkee of J. E. Griner
Company on this matter.
Mr. R~gero stated that the latest plan calls for the bridge opening
to be 50' wide and 24~ above the water, which will permit passage of
most power and sail boats without openin8 the draw.
The meeting adjourned at 4:)0 P.M.
