Present were members Kruse, Homer, Reade and Muscarella, Nick Rompon
of the City Engineer's Department, Chuck Albury oT the St. Petersburg
Times and Mrs. Peacock of the Garden Club. Mr. Peacock left before the
meeting opened.
Chairman Kruse called the meeting to order at 3:15 P.M.
There was no quorum at the time but Mr. Muscarella came in later.
The minutes of May 10th and 17th were approved.
It was. decided to hold the next regular meting of the Board on
Friday, June lst in the City Hall Auditorium with the members of the City
Commission and representatives of the crest Lake Association, for a dis-
Qussion of the Crest Snake Park matter. This meeting will take the place
of the usual Thursday meeting.
letters from and to the Sunset Harbor Civic Association were read
regarding the Association protesting the establishment of Fairmont as a
collector street on nM R 111. It was decided to defer action on the Marshall
Street-Fairmont matter for further investigation.
A letter from Horace Hamlin agreeing to dedicate property to the City
t"at is owned by him on the north side of Pierce Street was read and it was
agreed that this letter should be forwarded to the City Commission along
with drawings of the existing intersection and the proposed improvement
of the intersection of Ft. Harrison Avenue and Pierce Street.
Mr. Homer called attention to the fact that the Hoard is now one year
old and suggested that in celebration that a lunctLeon meeting should be
held and that members of the City Commission be invited.
Chairman Kruse explained a drawing he had prepared for the improvement
of the newly filled Stevenson's Creek-Park area. Those present expressed
?Wl enthusiastic approval.

The remainder of the meeting was given over to review and discussion
of the revisions and additions to Ordinance 632 which had been prepared
by Mr. Harries for the purpose or implementing I'M R 1" and further
strengthening Ordinance 632. -Mr. Muscarella orrered to make a thorough
study of the present and proposed Ordinances during the coming week.
In the early part of -the following week Mr. Kruse, Mr. Musoarella and. Mr,
Reade will meet as a committee ror detailed discussion and the formulation
of a recommendation on the matter to the Planning Hoard. After 23a nning
Hoard approval is given the proposal is to be recommended to the City
Commission.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
