Minutes of meeting T3ziurscl• Aril 263 1956 in Plannin Board Offioe
Present were members Kruse, Homer, Levison, Norton, Harries and Reade,
City Engineer Lickton, Mick Rompon of the City Engincerss Department and
Joe Devlin of the Clearwater Sun.
Chairman Kruse called the meeting, to order at 3;25 P.M. and the minutes
of the April 19th meeting were approved.
Chairman Kruse called for committee reports. Mr. Levison reported that
the Garden Club had been requested to submit a statement of what they wanted
in the Stevenson's Creek Parr area. So far no definite request has been
received and Mr. Levison recommended if nothing has been received by the
date of the next meeting, May 3rd, that the Planning Board write the City
Commission that we have been unable to acquire any definite information from
the Garden Club and are therefore unable to make any recommendations to the
Commission as to the action it should take in regard to this matter.
There was also discussion of park possibilities for south Clearwater
but no conclusions were reached.
There were no other committee reports.
The resolution passed by the Safety Harbor City Commission approving
Planning Board's "M R 1" was read to the Board by Mr. Levison. This
resolution was passed by the Bafety Harbor City Commdssion on April 16th.
Mr, Reade reported on the presentation of I'll R 1" by himself, Mr. Kruse
and City Commissioner Bohannon before the City Commission of Largo on
April 24th. Air, Reade stated that the apparent reaction of the City Com-
mission of Largo was favorable as formal action was taken to refer the matter
to the Largo Planning Board. The City Commission of Largo requested its
Planning Board to meet with the Clearwater Planning Board to study Clear-
kl,?O water's "M R 111 and report back to their Comission with recommendations.
Mr. X+`ussell, City Manager of Fargo, is to arrange a date for the two Plan-
ning Boards to meet.

Members Harries, Norton and Kruse of the Clearwater Planning Board
and City Commissioner Bohannon will meet Faith the Dunedin Planning Board
this afternoon at 5;15 Pell. tp discuss "M R 1".
Mir. Harries next introduced a discussion of proposed regulations
for new - subdivisions. There was much discussion which terminated by Mr.
Levison moving that the matter of subdivision regulations and study of
revisions to the present ordinance dealing with subdivisions be refered
to the scheduling committee of the Planning Board. Mr, Norton seconded
the motion which passed unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 4;30 P.M.
