This property is now outside the City limits and the developers are m~{ing application to have it annexed to the City of' ClearHllter. They have presented it to the City Engineer and now are presenting it to the Planning Board for approval. There was much c}j_scussion and many questions asked by members of the Board which Mr. Hancock and }~. Butler answered. }w. Hancock said that homes in the development will probably range in price from 12 to 25 thousand dollars and will therefore pay taxes after the homestead exemption allowance. Levison moved that the City Hanager be advised that it is the policy of the Planning Boa.rd to render decisions on plats of sub- divisions at the meeting f'ollol.Jing the first meeting at l"mch the plat is presented to the Board. Employmeht of a,lu;Ll time Planning DraftsmarU The services of a full time planning draftsman ,nnd the part time services of a draftsman from the City ErtgineerTs Department are necessary for the accomplishment of the Planning Board's functions. Qualified Planning Technicians are at a premium and may take , several months to locate. It is therefor~ recommended that the Civil Service Board advertise the position at an early date. II. Coordination with the 'City Commission: The,Planning Board wishes to work at all times in cooperation with the Commission and to keep the Commission'informod of the projects and progress of the Board.
