On motion by Mrs. Parks, seconded by Mr. Hall, minutes of April 18, 1978 were ap- proved 8S written. Planning and Zoning Board recommended as follows. Annexation & Zonin~: 1. (A) S 1/~ of NE 1/4 Sec. 32-28-16, together with any abutting street (B) SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 between N-S Section centerline and water of Lake Chautauqua, Sec. 32-28-16 (City) Request: P, Public Above property is undeveloped and adjacent to Lake Chautauqua. It is a portion of unplatted land deeded to the City by the County In exchange for the Sand Key Coast Guard Station pruperty. Property consists of 41.9 acres and becomes contiguous to the City limits by annexation of the County-owned submerged lands of Lake Chautauqua. At the present time, the only vehicular access to the property is by temporary agreement across the Boy Scout property which lies south of this tract. Mr. Hall stated th~t he desires to see the park remain a passive one rather than in an active stage.and would like the recommendation conveyed to the City Commisoion that this park continue as a passive one, opposed to an active playground development park. Request: RS-60, Single Family (Lamb) Above property is developed as a ~ingle family residence located at 1829 West Drive. Planning Director stated that there was an error in the legal description submitted at the time of annexation. Thus. this small area was ondtted. " I Tract is located adjacent to several tracts now under various stages of development in Countryside (Tracts 5, 6, 8. 9 and 15) and is similRr in nature to these areas. Property consiots of 20 single family lots. Plat was ,approved by the Resource Development Commtttee on April 28, 1978. (Request for waiver of the CIS was denied by the RDC on February 22. 1978.) Planning Director stated thatt at the City's request, approximately five acres of parkland'was traded off to U. S. Home Corp. in return for park site in another area where it can be better utilized.
