On motion by Mrs. Crampton, seconded by ~k. Turner, minutes of February 15. 1977 were approved 8S written. Planning and Zoning Board recommended as follows. Annexation & Zoning: 1. S% of S~ of SE~ of SE~, Sec. 20~28-l6 Request: RS-IOO. Single Family (Chief Che,rlc,J':s, Inc.) Attorney Stephen G. Watts. representing Chief Char1ey's, Inc.. explained the profit- sharing plan for their employees. Their intention is to sell 24 lots, 135-140 feet deep, with the entry from Landmark Drive, acceDS to be through a parcel recently deeded to the City (vicinity of Landmark and Millstream). Mr. Renando read into the record a letter requesting a waiver of the 10% parkland dedication. Planning staff expressed concern re easement to McMullen-Booth Road across the park; i. a., Chief Charley's would vacate it and it would be done in writing. Discussion ensued re 10% parkland dedication. Motion was made by Mr. Groth, seconded, by Mr, Kuntz, to recommend approval and that further recommendation be made to the City Commission that the 10% of the parkland be applied. Motion carried unanimously. 2. Begin 49 ft. E and 50 ft. N of SW corner of SEt of swt. Sec. 23-29-15, thence run N 192 ft., E 200 ft., S 192 ft., W 200 ft. to P.O.B. (First Federal Savings & Loan Assn. of Clearwater) Request: PS, Professional Services Attorney Jim Peters, representing First Federal Savings and Loan, gave a brief 'background of said property, emphaSizing the fact that it of putting in a branch bank. Inasmuch AS they they ssked, that the 10% parkland dedication be waived in this instance. spoke to the plan, stating that offices not exceed the boundaries of the other side of the streetj square corners off and make the remainder residential. It is within the parameters of the Comprehensive Plan. Motion was made by Mrs. Parks. seconded by Mrs. Crampton, to recommend approval of above.
