Wolle, Chief Planner/Current Planning, gave the preaentation for the City and presented color-coded graphics. for. the purpose of clarifying ownerships and rezoning item coveragea. He stated to the Board that staff had met with Messrs. Burns, Powell. Blakely and Felix prior to the dpub1ic hearing. Property in question is located on the west side of Gulf Blvd. For the Boardls information, Mr. Powell distributed a sheet re Cabana Club areB. as to Section (2) (A) (M & B 2), which is presently zoned for business usage. Considerable discussion ensued concerning these statements and at one point it was mentioned that the Board did not believe they could legally make a contractual agreement. (Mr. Powell wishes to alter and enlarge the Cabana.) He is very much against giving up business zoning inasmuch as he has a letter of agreement to Ed Wright. dated 1963, from tl.... then City Manager James R. Stewart.
