DEFINITION Strateg1ic plannIng Is a process by which an organization or group creates a vision for its tuture and develops the necessary processes to achieve that vision. 2. PROCESS: WAY OF WORKING ' A strategic planning retreat must be seen as part of a process. There must be a clear reason tor starting a strategy process. some preparation must be done and there must be a willingness to follow up after the retreat.
