RESOLUTION NO. 02-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE RECEIPT AND EXECUTION
OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER AND PINELLAS COUNTY, TO
PROVIDE REIMBURSEMENT BY THE COUNTY FOR
REPLACEMENT SIGNS WITHIN NAVIGATIONAL ZONES
WITHIN THE CITY FOR UP TO TWENTY-FOUR
THOUSAND DOLLARS PER CALENDAR YEAR FOR TWO
YEARS, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Pinellas County Department of Public Works Administration has
agreed to reimburse the City of Clearwater for replacement of navigational signs up to
$24,000.00 per calendar year for a period of two years beginning October 1, 2002 and
ending September 30, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida has received said agreement and
wishes to accepted said agreement by the adoption of Resolution 02-26 and wishes to
authorize the execution of said Interlocal Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby accepts and acknowledges receipt of the
Interlocal Agreement between the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County, which offers
to provide reimbursement up to $24,000.00 for navigational zone signage replacement.
The City Manager hereby is given authority to sign the Interlocal Agreement between
the City and Pinellas County on behalf of the City.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
