redevelopment of Downtown conflicted with the Downtown Plan. The City
Manager responded that additional information is expected from Mr. Thomas
on a funding souroe and the financial impact of the projeot.
Commissioner Hatchett also requested the status of the Flynn Report
whioh should be forthooming shortly. He noted that sidewalk barrioades
in his neighborhood were not lit after dark.
Commissioner Garvey noted that Jim Sheeler's name has been plaoed

A complaint of a lot needing to be cleared has been investigated by
the Sanitation Division and the owner was notified by certified mail to

A report on Commission mail prooedures presented at the August 16,
1982, work ses~ion recommended purchase of a oopier and the production
of a master mail paoket instead of the six individual press paokets now
produced, and an agenda packet for the press to oopy only items or interest
to them. The Minolta EP-310 was seleoted as the best copier and has proven
liability by demonstration and performanoe in several departments. The
price is competitive.
