A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DETERMINING
TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF CON-
STRUCTING PAVING, CURBS AND DRAINAGE IN THE
AREA BETWEEN ACACIA STREET AND KIPLING PLAZA
AND CLEARWATER HARBOR TO THE GULF OF MEXICO.
WHEREAS, Section 19-47 of Ordinance No. 2107 of the City of
Clearwater establishes the procedure to be utilized in repairing or installing
paving, drains or curbs in streets in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-47 of Ordinance No. 2107, a

s curbs and drainage in the area between Acacia Street and Kipling Plaza and

Clearwater Harbor to the Gulf of Mexico, was published once a week for two

consecutive weeks, namely on May 26, 1981, and June 1, 1981; and
WHEREAS, such notice established the public hearing date as
June 4, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held such public hearing on June 4,
1981, and received the objections to such improvement project and found
the same to be insufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
believes that it would benefit the health, welfare and safety of the residents
if such project proceeded;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
pursuant to Section 19-47 of Ordinance No. 2107, having held a public hearing
on June 4, 1981, after publishing notice of such hearing, for the purpose of
hearing any and all objections to the project, and having received such
objections and finding the same to be insufficient hereby finds and determines
that the improvement of constructing paving, curbs and drainage in the area

Z. That the question of the assessment of the costs of such project
shall be presented to the City Commission following completion of the
project.
3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
