WHEREAS. the City of Clearwater. Florida, has entered into an interlocal agreement pursuant to Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, eatllblhhing the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council; and WHEREAS, the 1980 Legislature of the State of Florida hilS enacted certain amendments to Chapter 160, Florida Statutes, pertaining to regional planning councils created pursuant to Chapter 163, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, the Board of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council adopted certain amendments to the interlocal agreement by unanimous vote on September 8, 1980; and WHEREAS, the amendments to the interlocal agreement are considered to be in the best interests of the City of ClearwaterJ Florida; NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA. IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED. AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater. Florida. hereby approves the amendments to the interlocal agreement establishing the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council which were adopted by the Board of the Planning Council on September 8. 1980, a copy of which amendments are attached hereto and incorporated herein. 2. That a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council. 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
