REQUESTING THAT THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION CONSIDER THE ATTACHED AS A SUBSTITUTE TO THE BII.L PROPOSED BY PIflJELLAS COUNTY RELA TINa TO EMS SERVICE. WHEREAS, the pLnellas County Legislative Delegation presently has before it a Bill prepared by Pinellas County to address the question of a county- wide EMS System; and WHEREAS, this que stion received a great deal of debate during the 1979 meetings of the Delegation; and WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater during that period of time prepared suggestions to addre ss the concerns of the municipalltie s in the area; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater would like to request the Delegation to consider the attached suggestions prior to preparing any final Bill relating to EMS for Pinellas County on a county-wide basis; NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR WA TER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED. AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby request the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation to give careful consideration to the suggcstions contained in the material attached to this re solution prior to proceeding with a Bill providing for county-wide EMS servic~ in Pinellas County.
