'I'he Mayor called the meeting to order and announced the purpose 01', the' meeting \'{as to set the date for u public hearing to consider n 30 year lease ,to oonatruct a public golf coursej and moderni:~e, the prosent airparlq exchange of land; and a rezoning 'application of approximately. 18 acres of City:land. The invocation was given by the City Attorney. , The City Attorney said the tentative date of January 12th, 1970, had been selected.' The City ManageI' said he and the City Attorney I3hould be authorized to complete a draft of thio agreement between the applicant and the City, and reconwend a change of zoning for the land which would be exchanged. CowJnissioner Carter moved to oet this public hearing for " January l2} 1970} at, 1:30 P.M. and the City Clerk advertise it as'required by the City Charter and the City Attorney and City Manager ,prepare the " agreement.
