Mr. Louis Sclmens, 1105 ISland \oJay, complained about a utility bill he had received which he stated was 300% more than the previOUS month. He thought sanitary sewer charges should be baaed on the amount of \'Iatel' used. After considerable discussion the City Commission indicated a possible review of the rates. The Mayor requested a motion authorizing the City Attorney and City Manager to proceed with the validation of a revenue bond issue for acquisition of par't or all of Sand Key. Commissioncr Williams moved that the City Manager and City Attorney be authorized to proceed \1ith the validation of a bond issue for rel'inancing Clearwater Pass bridge for Sand Key acquisition. Motion was seconded by Commissioner' Carter and carried unanimously. The Mayor requcsted appropriate departments be authorized to proceed with rezoning of Sand Key from B (business) to PUD-R (planned unit development-residential), C (commercial) 3 and an area for P (public).
