Brown W. E. Strang, Jr. Guy L. Kennedy J. N. Bohannon Absent: Jack Russell Also present were: Gerald Weimer Be J. Driver G. T. McClamma Mayor-Commissioner CODlDja e ioner Commissioner Comi ssioner COlDDissioner Representing City Manager Assistant City Attorney Chief of Police The Mayor called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the. meeting was to review the list of qualified electors far the Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, December 20, 1955. The Clerk presented a list of qualified electors as submitted by the County Supervisor of Registration. There being no requests for corrections or additions, Commissioner Strang moved that the voters' list as eubmitted by the Oity Clerk be received and approved as it stands an~ be adopted as the official list of qualified electors. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Bohannon and carried unanimously. The Clerk reported that he had inspected the voting machines to be used in the December 20th election and had lound them to be properly prepared tor the election. The report submitted by the Clerk is set out in the following pages of these minutes and by reference is made a part hereof. By consent, the Clerk's report on the voting machines was received and approved. There being no further business to come before the CommiSSion, the meeting was adjourned at 12:25 P.M.
