The meeting was called to order by the Mayor who announced that the first item
on the agenda was the consideration of the construction of the Municipal Baseball
Stadium, He reported that the City had previously employed the firm of R, W.
Spragins & Company, Memphis, Tennessee, to act as the City's fiscal agent and had •
approved a contract with Marr & Holman, Architects, Nashville, Tennessee, to design
the stadium with R, W. Wakeling acting as the local associate architect, ?;? •
?, Commissioner Russell presented the architect's plans for the proposed stadium and
?? requested that the Commissioners look them over to see if they wished to make

grandstand seats. The Commissioners discussed making provision for space for f
