Brown Herbert M. Blanton 'l"ho:mas H. Black, Jr. Joe Turner Absent: Garland D. Lynn -Mayor-Commissioner -Commissioner -Commissioner -Commissioner -Commissioner Also present were: F. Commissioner Black moved that Attorney Ben Krentzman, who was present, be appointed as Acting City Attorney in the absence of City Attorney C. E. Ware, who is on vacation. Coramissioner Blanton seconded the motion, which was voted upon and unanimously carried. City Manager presented tabulation of bid~ on paving and curbs on Mandalay Sub- division~ Unit NO.5, and recommended that bid be awarded to low bidder W. H. Armston, Dunedin, whose bid was in the amount of $39,493.00. He stated that the City Engineer joined him in this recommendation. Commissioner Black moved that tlle bid of W. H. Armston Company, Dunedin, for $39,493.00 covering 17,850 sq. yds. of shell base and paving and 11,760 lineal feet of curb and gutters, and 500 cu. yds. of fill, as re- commended by City Manager and City Engineer be approved and awarded. It: ;,~ City Manager presented tabulation of bids on storm sewers for Mandalay SubdiVision, Unit No.5, and joined with the City Engineer in recommending that the bid of Paul Giuliani, of Tarpon Springs, in the amount of $11,820.00 be accepted and approved. Com- missioner Black moved that City Engineer's and City Mana'ger's recommendation be followed and that the low bid of Paul Giuliani Company of Tarpon Springs, at $11,820.00 for storm sewers in Mandalay Unit No.5 be approved and awarded, items to include the follow- ing: Commissioner Blanton 145 lineal feet 30~ concrete sewer 150 lineal feet 1l8" concrete sewer 820 lineal feet 15" concrete sewer 300 lineal feet 15" corrugated sewer 575 lineal feet 12" rioncr~te sewer 290 lineal feet 8~ concrete sewer 60 lineal feet 8" corrugated seVier 17 standard catch basins 5 standard manholes 7 standard manholes catch basins seconded this motion, which was voted upon and unan imously carried.
