Also due to the fact that a great deal ot spectator interest haa developed-- we reel that the rest rooms in the min building should be made available tor public use during our raoes. It we were a larger oiv1c club, we'd ask tor the entire building and put it to use tor youth activity. !n fact, if it takes that in order to get the needed space for the pram t'leet--you JnaY consider this a request tor the use ot the building to develop a real youth center in Clearwater. Optimist Pnun Fleets are spreading rapidly throughout Florida now and we will be having more and more inter-city regattas s1milar to the Dunedin - Olear- water meet, the recent Bradenton - Clearwater meet and out own annual inter- national regatta. More and more publicity will be coming to Clearwater tram this activity. Believing we oan beautify the grounds--build a ramp tram the east door to the water's edge and have a more useful activ1ty, we urgent17 ::re- que at permiSSion for the use 0 f this additional space.
