Mro John C. Polhill addressed the Commission relative to an extension or renewal of the Everingham Leaseo Commissioner Drew moved that the matter of the Everingham Lease be referred to a Comnitteej the Committee to confer with Mr. Po1hill and Mr. Everinghanl and the matter be disposed of at the next regular meeting or the Commission. Polhill requested that the Conmlission extend the Country Club Lease for twenty-five yearn after present lease expires in 1956. Commissioner Casler moved that completion of drafting of a new lease be referred to the Real Estate Committeo and the lease be extended for 25 years. The motion was seconded by Connnissioner Brown and carried unanimously. Mr. Folhill requested that the City sell to the Countr~r Club Associa tlon a. tract of land adjacent to the A. C. L. Railroad~ on which the Associa.tion wishes to erect a new club house. Commissioner Casler moved that the Commission go on record as favoring construction or a new club house and this matter also be turned over to the Real Estate Committee for an appraisal and report. The cons idera tion of a. request of the Ja.ycee Club to use the City Park on the beach for the erect1.on of a band stand was deferred as no one from that organization was present at the meeting.
