of the Atlantic Coast Line E. R. right of way, 'but that the City did

representing the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad cited the existing cros-

All license taxes hereby ordained shall bo due and
payable on the first day of October of oach year, nnd if not
paid within thirty (30) days the~enrter, the same shall be
considered in default, and it shall be, and it is hereby made
the duty of tho City Manager to make affidavit for the arres~
of any person failing, or refusing to pay the samo, and to
cause the same to bo brought before the Municipal Court for
trial.

The right to revoke any license issued under the
provisions of this Ordinance, for cause, is reserved to the
City of Clearwater, and said revocation shall be made Rt the
direction of the City Commission.
hny person or persons, rirm or corporation, or
association that shall carryon or conduct any business,
occupation, or profession for which a license is hereby
required, without first obtaining a license, shall, ~pon
conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than Two
Hundred D0}lars ($200.00), or be imprisoned for not more than
sixty (60j days, or both.
Section 4. Any ordinance or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be wld the same are hereby repealed.
Section 5. No occupational license shall be issued to
any person, otherwise required by Ordinance of the City of
Clearwater to have a certificate of competency or to have
passed an examination before engaginR in a business or

profession in said City, until such porson shall have exhibited
to the City Treasurer and Tax Collector proof of haV'in~ said
certificate or of having passed said examination.
Section 6. If any clause, sentence, para~raph or part of
this ordinance shall for any reason be adjudged by any court
of competen1# jurisdiction to be unconstitutional. such judg-
ment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the rnmainder of
this ordinance, but shall be confined in its operation to the
clause, sentence, paraeraph or part thereof directly involved
in the controversy in which such judvnent shall have been
rendered

Section 1. Ordinance No. 479, Occupational License
Tax Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repeal.ed in'its
entireiy.
Section 2. No person shall engage in or manage the
profession, business �r occupation hereinafter namedp within the
City of Clearwater, Florida, unless a city iicense shaTl be
issued to each person or persons on receip� of the amount
hereinafter stated, and the same shall be signed by the Citx
Treasurer and Tax Collector, and shall have the City seal
affixed.

of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional, such judg-
ment shall nob affect, impair or invalidate the r�mainder of
