The City Attorney re~orted that it was ag8inst the State Law for Drive-Ins to

Mayor Houze appointed the following members on a corllIi,ittee to work with the

They now seem to be operating full blast all day long. It is hardly necessary

their udvertisers, uDon the time end at the expense ot: other business and professional
men who are obliged to Imlt long distance and local teleIJhone conversbtions, as well
as conferences bud dictation, vlhile th e sound truck go us by.
An out of town attorney with whom I was recently oonferring while one of our
sound truclcs vms OlJerating on the street below, cOIlmented thbt this was "sm€Jll town
stuff" and VJas absolutely prohibited in our neighboring cities.

Sometime ago, Mr. Bolton auid that he vwuld follow this practice, !::lnd as fur as

taking his place during business hours.

They now seem to be operating full blast all dsy long. It is ha�idly 3�acesst�ry
to pr�int outi that this is an unf�ir encraaehment, by the souncl truck oparators �nd
their advert?_sersF upgn the t�ne and at the expense oi other business and profess;tonal
men wh� a'ye obliged to halt long distsnce an3 local tele�phone con�erscation�, as well
as conferences aud dict�tion, ��vhile the sou.r.�d �r�zck goes by.
�1n out of tov��r� ai;torney with whom I T�as recently aonferrin�; while one of our
sound �rucks was operating on the street belova, comnanted that this wr�s "smbll town
