The City Commission of tlu? City of Clearwater, I'l.orida, met in speoial .,
session the evening of June 1?, 19'+g, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall with the
following members presont:
Mayor-Commissioner J, 0. Howie
Commissioner, H. D. Sergeant
Commissioner, Guy L. Kennedy
Oommissioner, Leland F. Drew
Commissioner, J. R. Crane.
•Also present were; City rianager B,A.Pennett, City Atty. Geo. Smith, and
Absent, none. Chief of Police J. J. Elliott.
The meeting was called to ardor by Mayor Houze, who explained the
purpose of the meeting was to have a special public hearing on the 1948-49
City Budget adopted at the regular meeting of the City Commission on Jbne 7,
lg4g,
It appearing that proper legal notioe of the meeting had been made,
and there being no one present that offered any ob,?ection to the Budget, it
was moved by Commissioner Kennedy, seconded by Commissioner Crane and unanimous-
ly carried that the Budget be adopted.
There being na further business to come before the Board, the meet-
ing was adjourned.
