At present we do not have a single available hall for ooncerts, leotures, forums and 0 tmr high-class en- tertainment that is suitable as to seating, aooustios and visibility. The laok of this will beoome IOOre and more apparent as our popul.ati on grows and vdll. it continued, mark us as a baokWard oommuni ty. 2. A meeting room, properly equipped wi. th kitohen etc. suitable for the men's service olubs and other organizaticns. *othing ot the sort is now available. 3. A leoture an d assembly room for eduoa tional am social meetings, oonventions and banquets. 4. Several smaller rooms. of sizes and typ es to be de- termined, for various community organizations. 5. Spaoe tor reoards. libraries, oolleotions and exhibits, inoluding a shall colleotion which would be very disirable and can in taot be provided. We Might well. add collections illustrating the flora, tauna, geology, history, etc. of our State. 6. Approprla te arrangemen t designed for the au itable dis- play of tablets, lists or names and suoh other war memorials as may be ohosen, whether general, individual, or to r speoial groups. , It is antioipated that the Clity, in conjunotion with the City Planning Board, will provide a 8i te for the Memorial Building, preferable in the newly aoquired oi ty park next to the publio library. The design and setting to be such that other units oan be added later without diSharmony. A bu1ldmg plan tOI' the proposed Civic Center MEmorial Building is presented herewith. The' estimated coat of the building and furnishings may approximate $1.00,000.00, exclusive ot endowments.
