1. All departme nt heads shall f Ue with the h.dv1sory B.:>ard th e num es
of new employees who have oomple ted s1 x months of service. Such numes shall be filed
as soon asposs.i ble after the six months service has been 0 omplet ed.
. 2. The Pension Fund shall keep in cash a t all times such amount as
_the Board of 'l'rustees considers necessary to meet imnediate requirements. All surp-
. . Ius funds shall be invested.
:3. 'fhe City .l.udi tor and Ole rk shall pre];l:1r e semil2lnllually a compl~te
statement of the financial oondi tl.:>n 0 f too Pensi on Fund, which statement shall be
open to inspeotion by any permanent emplo~lee of the Ji ty.
. 4. ".0 deductions shall be made from the pay of any employee until
. he has been oertified by the Bourd of Trustees as ~ permanent employee. ~rovided,
however, that returning servicemen shall be oonsldered as permanent employees im-
mediately upon their re-employma~t by the City, ~nd deductions shall be made accord-

5. When an employee is on leave of absence without p~y, he ~hall
