Absent: None.
City Manger Hendrix reported to the Board that he had asked
i for bids on the construction of the foundation for the gas holder recen-
tly purchased and that said bids were returnable on April 28th.
? It was moved by Mr, Smith, seconded by Mr. Lowe and carried
that an assignment of a lease from Fxank L. Haas1 to C. L. Youngblood
?. and Lillian Youngblood be approved. The approval subject, however,
?? to a?•valuation of the improvements on the property as of the present
time. The lease dust mentioned covers a 50 foot strip of lend owned
? by the City extending from and perpendicular to Causeway pavement
? North to Clearwater Bay. The Southeast corner oP the same being
? elf Peet ?h'est of the West end of the Vyest Causeway Bridge.

the Constitution of Florida and the Charter of the City of Clearwater;
and
?.HEREAS personal property taxes due the City of ClearK?ater
have not in the past been made a matter of public record in Pinellas
County and the methods used in ascertaining and collecting these
taxes has not always been uniform; and

Vti?ICREAS it is now the desire and intention. of the City
! Commission to adopt a uniform method of recordin?z ??nd collecting
personal property taxes.

hereby cancelled.

`' 2. That the City Auditor and Clerk shall immediately pre-
" ?"; pare a list of all personal property taxes due the City of Clearwater
ti for the years 1940, 1941, 1942 and 1943; that said list sha 11 show the
;.?; names of each tax payer, with the names arranged in alphabetical order,

payer appearing on the list for the years above :mentioned; that when
„. said list has been completed it shall be properly certified by the

Resaluation no further permits shall be issued by the City of Clearwater
,, for the moving of any houses or other building or structure across the
Causeway to Clearv?a?ater Beach.
