The City Commission met in regular session the evening of Mar. 20" 1944
in the City Hall at 8:00 o'clock P. h1. wi th t.he following members present:

two previous meetlngs were read and approved.
City Attorney Rolph Hichards reported that the new Refunding Eonds were
va.lida ted by the Circll j, t Court i,11.1 r li1, 1944, and tho. t a fter the elapse
of the appeal per~od would be ready for execution.
The C1 ty A ttorney also reported that the (;irc1.~ j t Court had rendered judge-
ment in favor of the CIty in a suit growin~ out 1 a sprinG-board accident.
Mr. H. A. Overly appeared before the Eoard relative to permission to
build a concrete sea-wall in front of his property know as Lots 10 to
14 inc, Blocl-:: CJ Larbo11r Morrow Subd. said. vlUll to be butlt approximately
50 ft. beyond the present property line. ~r. Uverly also proposed that
the Gjty bu:!ld a neVI street extendjng East Shore Lr:lve to connect with.
Causeway Boulevard as a point near the bridge. The conrrniss:1 on requested
the City Manager to investigate 5l10h a plan.
Mr. F. E. Hamm appeared before the bo~:trd requestine permission to build
a porch on the front of his Princess Street property - said porch to ex-
tend beyond the bu j ldinr: line. The Commission requested C:i,ty l\ianager
Hendrix to loole into the matter.
