Commission, vity of Ulearwater
Clearwater,
Florida.
Dear Sirs:
At the last meeting of the Staff of the
Morton Plant. Hospital the. recent oases of
typhoid were disoussed.
This led to the appointment of a special
committee oonsisting of Dr. Center, Dr. Blaak
and Dr. Bowen to meet with the city commission
to request that the oity water supply be
chlorimated. This step they felt would prevent
any contamination of the water by disease or
sabotage. Also frequent analysis and culture
of the water is reoommended as highly essential.
Sinoerely yours,
J. Sudler Hood, M. D.
Secretary of Staff
