cise by the City of Clearwater of its governmental fUnctions for the pro-
tection of public peace, health and safety; and neither the City of
Cle~rwater nor any 1ndividua~ responding to the regulations herein oon-
tained or lawfully proclaimed and promulgated by the Mayor-Commissioner
shall be liable ~or damages sustained by persons or property in conneotion
therewith, or as a re~ult of an authorized black-out or emergency.
Section 7. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure and shall take effect 1mmediatel~ upon its passage.
Section 8. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the
remainder of the ordinance and the application of such provision to
persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is held invalid
shall not be affected thereby.
Section 9. All ordinanoes or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 10. Any person, fir.m or corporation who shall
re~se or neglect to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance,
or who shall violate or fail to comply with any rules and regulations
proclaimed by the Mayor-Commissioner in connection therewith, shall be'
punished by 9. fine not exceeding $500.00 or by imprisomnent in the City
Jail not exceeding 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the
discretion of the Municipal Judge.
