I am informed that on the eveninb of November
11th, 1941 the Honorable Sl)eSsard 1. Holland, Governor o:f
Florida. announced at Tallahassee, through Associated
Press, that he had appointed me to the o:ffice of J"uv.enile,..:'
Judge of Pinellas County. I have llOt, howevt:tr, reoeived
any official communication to this afrect from the Governor,
nor have I recei veti my COIllLlission.
This is to advise the City Commission that, subjeot
to official notification of my appointment. I herewith submit
my resiLnation as Municipal Judge of" the city of Clearwater,
said resignation to take ef:fect Saturday, November 15th.
I should like to take this occasion to thank the
City Commission and individually each member thereo:f, the,
City Manager and the Chief of Polioe ror the splendid co-
operation I have received from ~lem during my term as
