THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, met in:

Mr. Frank Tack and Mr. H. M. Turnburke spoke briefly in out~ining such a proj-
ect. A written report was also presented by the committee and the. same was read
to the Commission by the City Manager. Mayor Seavy appointed Co~sBionerB
Clark and Smith and City Manager F. L. Hendrix, as a co~ttee tcget first hand
information on negro alum clearance project and report their findings back to
the board.

Place a fence around the present City Park locatef. at Cause-
way Elv'a. ana ~.:(1.ndalay Road ann cause to be erected signs
which would prohibit the dumping of trash in this park.
A more comprehensive police patrol of the beach which would
embo~y the fol1owing:-
a. Additional police deputys on holidays and week ends.
Such deputies to be paid out of fines collected for law
infractions.
b( More stringent enforcing o~ ~arking regulations, particularly
where it applies to trucks.
01 More arrests ~or chang in of clothes on beach and in automo-
biles. Hore arrestf' for scatterine.; of debris on the beach.

More close enforcement of the speedine ordtnance on the beach
and caus away. '
Passage by the City Commission of a Health Ordinance as ~t
relates to overcrowding of cottages and apartments.
