It was moved by Mr. Clark, seoonded by Mr. Lo,ve and
carried that a ~12000.00 transfer of Funds from the Gas
and Water DepRrtment to General Fund on ~an.31,194l be
approved.
Hoved by Mr. Lo'We, seconded by Mr. Grice that sale of'
Lot 29 Block F Sunset Point First Addn to Riohard P. and
Gladys C.Hunt for ~lOO.OO be approved. Motion carried.
Moved by Mr. Clark, seoonded by Mr. Lowe and oarried
that the ~150.00 orfer of Asa Reece in settlement of all
City taxes and liens on Lot 16 Block B Westover be aooepted.
A letter from George W.Eaner was read presenting a
reso1ution of the Clearwater District Committee of the Boy
Scouts or Amerioa which resolution requested that the City
Commission appoint Charles Shaw, Colonel Theodore Skinner
and Thomas L.Boteler Trustees to have oharge And care of the
Boy Scout Hut on Highland Avenue. Moved by Mr. Smith, seo-
onded by Mr. Clark and oarried that Chas. Shaw, Colonel
Theodore Skinner and Thomas L. Boteler be appointed as
trustees of the Boy Scout Hut property on Highland Avenue.
Moved by Mr. Clark,seconded by Mr. Smith and oarried
that $?O.OO be paid the Florida League of MunicipAlities.
At the instance of City Manager F.L.Hendrix, City
Attorney Ralph Richards introduced and read an ordinance
to be kno~n as Ordinance #469. An Ordinance providing for
the disposition of garbage, trash and waste materials, pre-
soribing in whioh garbage, trash and waste materials shall
be kept, and providing penalties for the violation thereof.
Moved by Mr. Smith, seoonded by Mr. Lowe that the
ordinanoe be passed on its first reading, motion carried.
Moved by Mr. Grice, seoonded by Mr. Lowe that the ordinanoe
be passed on its seoond reading, motion oarried.

Mr. Richards was instructed to draw a resolution cover-

ing the various boards and cormnittees that are appointed by
the City Commission setting the expiratiOn date of appoint-
ments as of the first day of February.
Mr. Richards reported that he had contaoted Mr. Reid,
County SuperYisor of Registration relative to some plan to
furnish the City of Clearwater with a list of registered
voters residing within the Oity Limits of Clearwnter, and
that Mr. Reid seemed very co-operative, also that Mr. Reid's
charges for such services would be very reasonable. Mr.
Richards was requested to contin~e his negotiations in re-
gard to the registration and to draw up any changes to the
City Charter neoessary to make such method of registration
legal.
Mr. Richards was also requested to look in to the matter
of making changes in the City Charter to eleminate advertise-
ing of names of qualified voters, delinquent tax list, pub-
lisping of ordinances, notices and etc.
There being no further business to oome before the board
the meeting was adjourned.
